Many of our Thalia neighbors have experienced (and repeatedly experience) the destruction of their street side mailboxes, ostensibly by individuals struck with a fancy to drive by and "bash something."  Typically, this has occurred coincident with the start-up and close-down of the schools. This annoying and expensive crime spree has started (again), as reported by several families on Lynn Shores Drive (the "dead end" portion of the street), and in the Thalia Shores area.  Walkers, night owls, and early risers, take note:  A witness has reported seeing a "white car" (no more details) which was transporting the "alleged perps".

IF YOU SEE ANY SUSPICIOUS CARS, OTHER VEHICLES, OR INDIVIDUALS ON FOOT, CALL YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH POINT OF CONTACT, OR EVEN BETTER, THE POLICE (explain that it is a non-emergency if that is the case).  We all know (or should know) who drives what car and who is "normal" to the neighborhood.  Put that knowledge to good use!
