Hello! I'm Jack Garrison,
President of the Thalia Civic League, Inc.

member of the Thalia Neighborhood Watch Program.
The Thalia Civic League is conducting its annual membership drive during the month of January this year and would like for you and your family to join us and make 2006 the best year for the Thalia Community since the Civic League as formed back in 1953. Please, let me tell you what the Thalia Civic League and the Neighborhood Watch Program does for you and the Thalia community:
PROVIDES A DEMOCRATIC FORUM, where residents of Thalia can receive information about and discuss issues that affect the community.PROVIDES REPRESENTATION for the Thalia community at local, state, and federal Government meetings and functions that affect the general welfare, environment, zoning, and property values of the Thalia area.
PROVIDES THE FRAMEWORK FOR THE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, where neighbors look out for neighbors in an effort to reduce crime in our community.
PRODUCES A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, which includes news and information on events taking place here in our Thalia Community.
PROVIDES A WEB SITE where you can see in real time the latest news happenings in the Thalia Neighborhood, links to City Council and other interesting places. Click on to (http://thaliacivicleague.exis.net).

Also, I ask you to become a member of the Thalia Neighborhood
Watch
Program. It doesn't cost anything, and it's a really a valuable
tool in
preventing crime and providing safety in our community. You need only keep watch on your home
and your
immediate neighbors' homes. Participating
in the Neighborhood Watch
Program means you'll: only have to:
WATCH FOR THE UNUSUAL
CALL POLICE or 911 for an EMERGENCY
Take an active part
in your community, use the Civic
League application
and just check "yes" that you'd
like
to participate in the Neighborhood Watch Program.
