the overall appearance of our neighborhood.
Plant the flowers and shrubs at the
entrance-ways
and throughout the Thalia Area.
Weed the entrance-way shrub and
flower
beds.
keep the lights burning at our
entrance-ways.
Pick up trash and litter at all of
the
entrance-ways.
Decorate the Thalia Entrances for the
holidays.
Awards a yearly scholarship a student
who is a Thalia resident.
Contributes $1000.00 to the
"Celebrate Children's Garden" at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center.
Woks with other Garden Clubs within the Council of Garden Clubs
on various projects, i.e.,
Decorate the Francis Land House at
holidays throughout the year.
Make several dozen large Christmas
Wreaths for the City Buildings each year.
Make table decorations for the Neptune
Festival Senior Gala each September.
Pine Seedling workshop each spring.
Empty Bowls Charity Dinner each spring.
The Thalia Garden
Club accomplishes the above tasks under the
supervision of the Awards of Beautification and Consecrations (A.B.C.)

need help and support
from
anyone that loves nature and wishes to help beautify our Thalia
Community.
The
Thalia Garden Club invites and encourages the help of all Thalia
residents.
